Who we are

built is Built Studios LLC, a digital product studio registered in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We operate this website, builtstudios.io.

What we collect

What you send us. When you submit the consultation form we receive your name, your email address, your project description, and, if you choose to provide them, your company name and timeline. That is the complete list. There are no accounts and no payments on this site.

What visiting produces. Like nearly every website, this one generates aggregate usage measurements, such as pages viewed, which country a visit comes from, and device and browser type. Our infrastructure also processes IP addresses in standard server logs and, briefly, to rate limit the contact form against abuse.

How we use it

Your enquiry data exists for one purpose: to reply to you and scope your project. Submitting the form also triggers a single confirmation email to you from [email protected].

Usage measurements tell us which pages work and which need improving. Security logs keep the site online and the form free of spam. We use your enquiry data because you asked us to respond, and we measure traffic on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.

Who processes it

The site runs on Vercel behind Cloudflare, which provides our network and security. Your form message is delivered as email through Resend to our studio inbox, which is hosted on Microsoft 365, and it is not stored in any database of ours.

Traffic is measured by Google Analytics, and by Vercel Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which both work without cookies and collect only aggregate data. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

We never sell personal data, and we never share it for advertising.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets its measurement cookies, with names beginning in _ga, to tell returning browsers apart. We use them for measurement only. We run no advertising on this site and no advertising features in our analytics.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings at any time, or install the browser extension Google offers to block Analytics entirely. The site works fully without them. No other tracking cookies are set.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails stay in our inbox for as long as the conversation and ordinary business records require. Ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Analytics data is retained as aggregate measurements under the retention settings of each provider. The form's rate limiting data lives briefly in memory only and is never written to storage.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will act promptly.

We honor the rights you hold under applicable data protection law, including the data protection law of the United Arab Emirates and, where it applies to you, the law of your place of residence.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

When our practices change, this page changes with them and the date at the top is updated. The version you are reading is always the one in force.
